georgie again...

Saturday, May 11, 2013

hey, he's doing better. hope this continues.

so I can't believe this brain tumor thing, seems more like stroke. but the vet said there is no such thing as stroke in cats.
that's not what I found on the internet, though.

still puzzled...

ps. it's raining. i'll try my luck at getting him in the house. but he's much more clever than I am!

I am very confused because I have heard of cats having strokes. I volunteered at a Cat Welfare organization and some of the cats had strokes. And the vets there said so!

I am glad that Georgie is hanging in there. I had a cat named Georgie when I was a child.

Good on you Georgie. You have the will to live
alongside your 'mama'. Glad to here he is doing
great. I think TLC goes a long way in recovery. emoticon

I'm not sure why your vet would say that because, of course, cats can have strokes. You do what's best for your cat and maybe a veterinary neurologist?

Sometimes it doesn't matter who is right as long as you are helping your baby as best you can. My cat is getting older and having some issues but as long as we help her along, I feel we are doing what we can.

Hmmm, vets, like docs, don't always know it all!

Stroke can occur in cats. I know firsthand, we had a kitty die of a massive stroke.

I hope you get some answers, how frustrating.
