The goal for Week 1 is to make a plan to implement the SPA LITE program at home.
1) What do I want to get out of it? - Focused effort and at least some small daily successes to build on for the following week. I want to have a plan and build a new routine to keep that plan moving.
2) What does the program look like? - Well, since money is tight a regular SPA or Resort weight loss program is out of reach; however, I am going to make my own "SPA LITE" plan and put the money that I do have toward that plan and paying off bills. The program requires "Extreme Self-Care" (from a class I am taking) and some straight forward guidelines for week one.
2a) Food - Fruit/Veggie with every meal/snack.
2b) Exercise - 30 minutes a day, every day, minimum. Get kids outside.
2c) Support - Journal every day. E-mail with Mom. Put up a calendar on the fridge and put a sticker up or make a star on it every time you meet a goal.
3) What does success look like?
3a) Day 1 - journal, yoga, strength training, fruit/veggie at breakfast, lunch, dinner.
3b) Day 3 - same as day 1, but fruit/veggie also with snacks, and I have walked 30 minutes at least one of the first three days.
3c) Day 5 - same as day 3
3d) Day 7 - same as day 3, I have my plan for next week.
