FODMAP Diet

For the past week I've been on the FODMAP Diet (eliminating common food allergens to determine which ones are my problem) - one week down and five to go before I can slowly add back in dairy then wheat, onions, garlic, beans, stone fruit, etc. It's a challenge but I am doing it. No processed foods on this diet. I will say I feel well and I've been losing weight well. Also my blood sugar has been very good. I think it's also good I am blasted out of my food comfort zones. I was using A LOT of processed food. The ultimate will be feeling well and being healthy!

    emoticon emoticon It is amazing isn't it. I do best with organic foods. The flavor is so much better and amazingly the cravings disappear when I am not fighting food toxins or eating foods without nutritional benefit.

    I wasn't familiar with that diet, so I did a quick internet search and read some literature put out by Stanford Hospital. Thanks for sharing the information, it is always good to learn something new! That's great that it's helping your blood sugar and your feeling well along with the weight loss.
