Taking the day off

Friday, May 10, 2013

Over the past few weeks I have been dealing with my poor little DD having first strep, then some sort of viral infection, and finally pneumonia. On top that that my older DD came down with that viral infection and since her lungs sounded wheezy and clogged, the doc treated her for pneumonia also. In that time the dryer stopped working, the emergency break on my car broke, the plumbing backed up, the dishwasher started leaking and the washing machine only works when it feels like it. But today I am watching my DDs playing on the swing set finally healthy again. I spent my day resting after being up so many nights recently and working so hard. Today I am thankful my kids are once again happy and healthy. Tomorrow I will go dryer shopping and worry about how we are going to pay for all these repairs. Today, what's important is that my kids are smiling.

How wonderful that your DD's are well again. I can picture them happily swinging while you keep watch. I does seem that everything that can go wrong does at the same time. We went through it earlier this spring.

So glad that every one is healthy again. And hope that your appliance troubles get settled soon. Enjoy the rest. emoticon

I am glad things are better health wise. Maybe the appliances, car and plumbing take a hint, and get better too! emoticon
