What an exciting time I am having. I haven't felt this well in quite some time and I am very excited about it! With only 20 pounds gone so far, I am feeling better, I am back to walking up the stairs at work instead of waiting on the elevator, and parking in the very back of any parking lot I use (which my daughter thinks is nuts)!
The two pounds last week was wonderful and I know every week will not be the same but when I actually zipped a pair of pants I hadn't even taken off the hanger in a year ... well - that was one ugly happy dance!
I found a gently used treadmill on sale and didn't bat an eye before I bought it! I am going to pick it up Sunday!! In preparation for the new treadmill I sat down and planned how to find the time to work out and where to put the treadmill. Much to my daughter's dismay that thing is going smack in the living room! HAAA! I am committed to spending a minimum of 20 minutes per day on it and I plan to watch reruns on Netflix until I get good enough to read and walk at the same time! I have never had an actual written plan of action for nutrition or exercise before and I have no idea why I waited so long! Come to find out - THIS IS what works for me. I consult small business owners and tell them you must have a business plan and actually work that plan. Why I haven't realized that goes for my personal life I don't know ... but better late than never folks!
