Joining Spark People is my first step to making some healthy changes to my life. Another big step was realizing just how unhealthy I have been living (and that my weight is in the obese section of BMI calculators), So it was time to make a change.
I am 23 years old,and a university graduate. Things career wise are finally starting to look better for me now, with starting a new job in my field on Monday. With that big change, I decided that I should work on my lifestyle outside of work in terms of healthy living. I want to start everything out on the right foot and having some sort of a routine will be a great help.
Monday is my official start day where the exercising, healthy eating and all that tracking that goes along with it! My plan at this point is to do the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution, but just the work out part and watch the eating through Spark and tracking. I think the structure of the workouts will work well for me, and with them only being about a half hour long, I'll be able to fit it in before work in the mornings!
So any advice or if you want a weight loss buddy let me know. I want to keep accountable and can hopefully help some others do the same! Feel free to add me as friend and we can cheer on and support each other.
