change in diet again

I have been doing protein drinks twice a day for awhile. I have decided to change to once a day . Hopefully I will be able to incorporate protein in all my meals without having to count on these shakes. emoticon

    I understand your need to increase your protein in your diet - I have had the same problem on some days. To help with fiber when using as a meal replacement shake, try using Metamucil. I usually have a salad with my protein shake but have used Metamucil in the past to increase fiber in my diet when the produce looks bad.

    I keep cheese sticks on hand to add protein to meals that don't have enough. Egg substitute is also and easy way to do that. Liquid meals are not all that satisfying for me.

  drinks are okay, but you aren't getting as much fiber as you would eating whole foods, unless you are very careful.

    Good idea to start moving to more food and less supplemental drinks. This has to last a lifetime and you don't want to be doing shakes for the rest of your life. You can make this happen for you.
