Teacher Appreciation Gifts
Friday, May 10, 2013
Besides painting the kitchen this week, my grandson and I got busy Wednesday afternoon making gifts for his teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. As a former teacher myself I knew his Kindergarten teachers would like the Apple Print Canvas Tote Bags he made for them and filled with delicious red and green apples as well as the Thumbprint Animal Note Card Sets he designed for both of them. I received word from my daughter yesterday that the gifts were a BIG HIT with both teachers and that his primary teacher even cried when my grandson handed his gift to her.
The little man and I also made his mommy a set of Thumbprint Note Cards and designed a Coffee Cup that we filled with instant mocha coffee packets and candy kisses for him to give her for Mother's Day along with a card.
Tomorrow we are heading to our grandson's soccer game in the morning and afterward having brunch at Olive Garden with him, our daughter and Dan. Hoping for a peaceful day!
Wishing all the teachers in Spark-land a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. To all the mommies and grandmommies... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! Have a great weekend everybody!
