So I woke up today knowing that it's my abs/cardio day but I just don't seem to have any energy. I tried to get my ab workout in anyway but was struggling a little so I didn't quite complete the whole thing. I then stepped onto the treadmill and quickly found out that I still have sore muscles from a previous workout and decided cardio would be out for me today.
I then felt really bummed with myself for putting out such a half-assed effort and made a promise to myself to give it hell with kettlebells tomorrow. After a few minutes of thinking about what I DID do, I realized maybe it wasn't all bad after all. In the end I did 10 minutes on the treadmill at moderate speed (lame - I know). But, I did do 35 sit-ups, 35 crunches, 20 leg raises, 60 back extensions (half regular and half reverse), 4 - 20 sec side bridges (2 each side) and 3 - 20 sec planks. I may not have been working at my full potential today but maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought. There's always tomorrow right?
