Are you in a bad mood?

This is fabulous:

This totally works. I've done this many times. The getting up and getting started part is the hardest part of the whole thing, but I've never thought to myself, "Gee, I wish I would have just stayed on my @ss, feeling crabby."

Try it. You'll be grateful you did, I promise.

I agree - I have never felt sorry because I took that walk, but I also have to admit that there are many times that I never get around to it...

I also take a nice hot shower for my depression. Yesterday I did both- went for a walk and a nice long hot shower. baths are good, but I wanted the water on my neck. *hugs*

Yes, I've tried this and it works. But what works for even better for me is to a do a workout thats too hard for me. I get so focused in trying to keep up, I forget whatever else is on my mind!

I totally agree. I started walking when I first began my weight loss journey and always noticed that, even on bad days, the walking did something to me. It did so much that it became routine and I lost 90 lbs then. Even now I sometimes just go for a walk in the park that started it all and there is something about being out there in the midst of nature and God that is an instant mood booster. Thanks for sharing this.

Great advice!!! This is what I should have done when the weather was gloomy instead of being a couch potato!!!!!
