I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday and about 1 1/2 hours on Wednesday cutting grass. I mainly used the riding lawn mower, but I did a little "pushing" and raking. DH was "off" Wednesday & Thursday, but did a side job, so he worked late both nights. We really needed to get that grass cut before it rains again tonight. I had all 3 girls working in the yard yesterday!
So, with cutting crass and driving around kids, I didn't get to run. DH, DD#2 & 3 want to run tonight. DH will take DD#2 & friend to the gym and I'll run on the greenway with DD#3 (after dropping DD#1 off at work). It's cloudy and windy now, but the rain is supposed to hold off until tonight.
It's supposed to rain again tonight and tomorrow (so the grass will grow more again!), so I probably won't get any outdoor exercise. Need to break back out the Coach Nicole body sculpting DVD. I actually liked it, I don't know why I haven't done it the past couple of weeks.
DD#2 has her last basketball game for her spring league on Saturday. We already got the summer workout programs for both basketball & volleyball, so she'll be very busy. She still wants to keep up the running a couple of nights a week (plus she likes hanging out at the gym with the boys!). Hopefully DD#3 will want to keep running after next week's 5K! I need all the motivation I can get.
Sunday is supposed to be nice. We're going to my cousin's lake house for a graduation party, so hopefully it will be warm enough to swim. I think my niece and sister are taking their kayaks, so I'll get some exercise in.
I'm planning to enjoy my Mother's Day! I've earned it after this school year!!
