I've been feeling sluggish lately and realized I needed a cleanse. Well... nothing like getting rid of 4lbs of waste with a good cleanse. So I'm spending my day re-hydrating and fueling up with healthy choices. Sooo getting use to feeling healthy by making better choices. I'm definitely liking that I consciously make better choices when I'm out and need a quick bite to eat. Yesterday I was at the cafeteria at my work with my kids and they were buying cookies and chips but I headed for the fresh fruit instead. I'm glad I did!! It was the best apple ever!!
I've increased my water intake by double and decreased my soda intake by double. I think I'm on the right track to getting rid of my soda addiction. The soda should be more of a treat than a daily source of fluids. I've found some great fruit/veggie infused waters that I plan on making to help with the water consumption. I've also been taking cut up lemons to work to add to my water so I will be more likely to drink the water instead of soda.
Feeling great that I am on the right track!! Feels good to share with people my conscious effort to finally make positive changes.
So I am 22lbs away from one-derland!! Lost a total of 38lbs, that's like loosing a toddler.
