Frazzled Friday

I'm disappointed in my step count for the week. Rest doesn't seem to be helping with the leg pain all that much so I am going to work on getting my step count back up to at least 3000 steps a day. I bought a new pair of shoes on Sunday and even though I spent many hours at home and could have been testing them out, I have yet to put them on. Hmmm. Today I have 3 appointments and at least 1 report to write up. I'm feeling frazzled and I haven't even eaten breakfast yet. So! Goals for today:

emoticon Wear new shoes for at least 1 hour

emoticon 5 servings of freggies today --- 4

emoticon 30 minutes at least on the wii

emoticon Get to the library emoticon

emoticon 96oz of water and 16oz of tea at least --96 & 8 done

emoticon At least 2 strength training exercises and 5 min of stretching

    Its good to stay motivated and those are great inspirational quotes. Please just be careful not to damage that knee more! There are a lot of seated workouts you can do without putting undue pressure on the leg. The Chair Exercise team has its own You tube channel. Click on the team icon and it will give you list and lists of what we have and you can go right too them.
If you want a vigorous workout without messing with your knee and causing stil more pain, try Chair Dancing on for size! Judy Stovlove has a team and whole website of videos that you may be able to use.

I feel like a slug today. I think the prednisone and lack of exercise is catching up with me...

    Geesh, I could have written your blog, I am experiencing the same issues. I hope you find motivation toward doing your goals for the day, the week, the month and then on.....I hope I do too!
