My Monthly Weighin From April To May 2013!

Hi Everyone,
So Monday was my Monthly Weighin but I've been really busy so I now finally have the chance to post it all today and I'm much happier this month than last month! So here goes

April 1st 2013

Weight 304.2 lbs.

BMI 48.0

Measurements
Right Arm 16"
Right Leg 26"
Middle S 46"
Waist 48"
Hips 54"

May 6th 2013

Weight 293.4 lbs

BMI 47.7

Measurements

Okay now that you have seen the Numbers now Drumroll please get this I lost 10.8 lbs since last Month! Ohh Happy Days are here and I am high as a kite LOL not literally though but Wow this is really great news! That brings my Weighloss to 19 lbs now and 10 inches gone from my Body! Now onto My Measurements which all stayed the same except for my Waist which went down 1" and my Hips went down 1 " Whoo Hoo! That's definitely good news indeed! And finally onto my Body Fat which also was good news again with it dropping 0.3 % which was also great news!
Okay soo moving on to the positives and there are lots of them!

1st I reached 130 Days of still Not Eating Lay's Potato Chips or Friendly's Ice Cream!

2nd Continue to Workout Out everyday and increased my Workouts to 60 minutes each time everyday and I only do 10 Minutes on Sundays because I do need to give my Body time to heal.

3rd Continue to Drink 64 oz or more of Water Everyday

4th Continue to Eat Healthy Everyday and find more Nutritious and Healthy Snacks to Nibble on. Tried Almond Milk and Hummus and soo love it! Soo good to eat! Yum Yum Yum!

5th Continue to Stay Away from all Junk Food

6th Continue to Log my Meals Everyday

7th Continue to still get the Award for 1,000 Fitness Minutes!

8th Continue to Stay Positive even if its getting tougher to keep Working Out like I do everyday I still manage to press on and Work even harder!

9th Joined the 10 Minute Daily Challenge and completed it and got my Trophy! Because I love the Awards No Lie!

10th Bought Coach Nicole's Total Body Sculpting Workout DVD so I can have even more different Varieties to choose from and Workout to!

11th Bought The Spark Solution Book from Sparkpeople to get more added Motivation towards meeting my Goals!

So overall I am Working hard and it's finally showing! I'm soo glad I never gave up and kept pressing on even when the Weight was not coming off! I really appreciate all of my friends here who have supported me and I am not done yet! Well till next month keep up the good fight and hopefully its just gonna be more good news next month!

    Okay - I know you are going to get mad at me - but I wrote another book-length comment. . .

My dearest DETERMINED,

I can’t believe you lost 10.8 pounds – that is an awesome achievement! I remember when losing weight before – when I was REALLY WORKING OUT HARD – I was able to do that. You really aren’t kidding when you say you are determined!

Great job on keeping away from temptation – 130 days is nothing to shake a stick at – that is a huge achievement too! I have been sooooo impressed whenever I see your status updates saying “I worked out for 60 minutes today” – I know you really must be working hard. What do you do for exercise? Do you enjoy it? Have you tried other things? For me – the reason I can press myself further is because I do different types of exercise – it makes it more exciting. If I had to climb on the treadmill every day it would be difficult for me. However, some people are much better at it – if then enjoy it – than I am.

As for the water – I have never measured – until this challenge. I see that I truly thought I was drinking more than I actually was. Now I have a plastic jug with measurements on the side so I know exactly how much I am drinking. It makes a difference – my skin is even looking better!

I am also drinking almond milk – and don’t get me started on hummus – that is absolute yummmmm on a plate! I love it! Almond milk – I use it when I need milk and it’s okay – but I don’t absolutely love it! I just usually stick with water. So glad you are finding healthy alternatives – some days it isn’t easy – but if we truly want to make a difference – it helps a whole lot!

Logging meals is not an easy one for me. I eat quite healthy on a daily basis – and almost everything I eat has whole grains and vegetables. It is hard to chart though – because my recipes are my own – not something easy to chart each ingredient and be accurate. I think that’s great that you are doing it – and if I ever think that it is going to help me be more successful – I probably will go that route as well. I truly look up to those who do it – as I’m sure it is an awesome tool!

Staying positive isn’t easy sometimes – but it looks like you have a lot of tools at your disposal. You also seem to have a lot of scale – and non-scale victories that are shouting out “Great job, girl!” Hopefully that helps a lot. The awards help me – and when I get them I always do a happy dance and tell my husband “see – look what I did!” just like a little kid showing their report card. Infantile? Perhaps – but darn it – it makes me feel good, so who cares!

I have not read “The Spark Solution” yet – I think that is there more recent book I have been hearing about. I read their first book and it helped a lot – not only in motivating change in weight loss, but also in everyday life. It has a lot of good advice and ideas in there!

I am so proud of all you have done so far – and it shows I pick some pretty awesome (not to mention inspiring) SparkFriends, if I must say so myself! You have done a great job – and I hope you continue to celebrate you – and all you have a achieved so far – a little each day.

Keep up the good work – because now you KNOW that it truly PAYS OFF. You are a shining example to anyone else out there that it can happen – we can do it. If there was an award out there for it – you would be holding that in your hands right now! Great job!

You are an inspiration to me. I also work hard at loosing, but I have a lot right now working against me. I have a knee that I had replaced that is not healing right, I also have my Thyroid that they can not get into control. I started my journey back on 1/6/2008. I got down to 135 & then went up to as of today after DR app to 195. A lot of this is my thyroid as I walk & exercise every day. It is so discoursing but I know that I can do it like you have.
