7.6 pounds gone so far!

I am finally getting the hang of this!
So in almost 3 weeks, with a little bump in the road ( sushi and lasagne's) I have lost 7.6 pounds on "The Plan"

Yesterday I had a rest day...since my weight stabilized with the Rye the day before. I had a cup of organic coffee mid morning and I had 1/2 oz chocolate after dinner! O my, it was heavenly!

This morning I am down a pound!

For a total of ALMOST 8 pounds and I am really happy about that! I am 2.4 pounds away from breaking through into the 140's! I will just be ecstatic!

I am thankful for my food processor. It makes chopping veggies easy and more interesting!

Now this is the challenge: Mother's day!

So on Mother's day we are going out to lunch! That will be a challenge!
On Sat I have a ladies party....that is going to be a challenge!
So who knows what my weight will be on Monday, but let's hope I can stick to friendly foods and do the best I can without forfeiting the enjoyment part of it all!

    Oh, Mel, I'm feeling so inspired by this!!! Even though I've been balancing food and nutrition this month, I'm still holding steady. Haven't lost any more weight. Clearly I need to change something. I'm so happy for you!

    emoticon You are doing great - that's 2.5 pounds a week on average!
Good luck with the outings - they are challenging but if you can stay away from the baked stuff you're way ahead already. Have you tested eggs?

Dining out is always a challenge for me as well.
Yesterday I had a caesar salad at a m om and pops type of restaurant, so you know that their calorie count is not on line somewhere. I like things to be planned and exact when it comes to my fat and calories and it just can't be done 100% of the time , can it?
So, I sense the frustration.
