Week 28 : Friday

My alarm is going off at 6.30 now and I am getting to the swimming pool by 7. This morning I managed a whole hour which was an achievement. I got cramp in my foot after about 30 mins but managed to get rid of it and it didn't return.

Tomorrow the new Spring into Summer 5% challenge starts. It took me longer than the 8 weeks to lose 5% last challenge, but hopefully this one will go a bit better. 5% is 11.5 lbs, so it should be possible if I keep going with the exercise and healthy nutrition. 3 weeks and we will be off on holiday to Aldernay, the smallest Channel Island, so I am hoping to have lost another 5 lbs by then and not to have to use a seatbelt extension. We'll see!

    cramps are usually from lack of magnesium or/and calcium or dehydration(which I doubt it's the case ). but taking some supplements or not depends on if you have any condition that disturbs those elements' balance. I admire you for getting up so early to move , I can't get myself doing it since the summer hour , I keep setting the alarm at 6 and waking up at 7. good luck with the challenge! emoticon

    Good for you, getting up early to get to the pool! I'm sure you can achieve your goal, look a how far you've come so far. I can totally relate to the seat belt extension issue, it was one of my goals as well. Will see next time I fly. Gulp!!!
    I've always wanted to visit the channel islands, can't wait to see some of your pictures.
