Since I started this weight loss journey in October of 2011 I've dropped 5 sizes. I've gone from a 24 to a 16! emoticon

When i started this journey I went out and bought a size 22 pair of shorts. Then once I fit into those I went out and bought a size 20 and so on and so forth. I used this as a visual motivational tool.

Well, in doing some online browsing last night I realized that Wal-Mart (where I get majority of my clothes) 14s are considered a JUNIOR SIZE!! WOOHOO!! I haven't been in a 14 since 2005 before I got married to my late husband.

So, I started browsing and realized I didn't like anything Wal-Mart had. Lane Bryant's smallest size is 14 but I'm not paying 45 dollars for ONE pair of shorts. pffft! I don't like Avenue because they cut their clothes smaller. By their standards I would be in an 18, not a 14. They cut their stuff really small.

So, I finally started looking on Target. I liked a lot of what I saw. One of my other friends suggested Old Navy. I did a little browsing on their website and they actually have some cute stuff. I'd have to find a store and try some stuff on because I've never bought clothes from their before. I don't know what would fit me properly. Once I figure that out I could start shopping online through them.

I'm excited! I'm hoping by the end of the summer (around Labor Day) I'm in 14s!!

You are an inspiring lady. My daughter bought me a blouse from Winners and it actually fitted me. She also has bought me tops from Tiger and Sears.

Our Walmart closed and zellers in the country.. So her living in the city she has best hands on to

get pretty things for me.

My problem is the bottom half . My heaviest right now . So I try to walk on good days the best I can..

Anyhow. Your story is a real tear jerker but is a real positive you that you are being used for

many people in the grieving for others. Also and inspiration to how you have loss to have a

new you..
