Day 3... A Day That Was

Ok, let's get this over with.

I did just fine and dandy until our work outing/party/celebration, during which I saw fit to consume several cocktails and then several slices of pizza. Which would have been enough right there. But no. I went home and decided I was still hungry and had a bowl of the world's best pasta salad. (Oh yeah, pasta, mayo, dried cherries, turkey, almonds... You may try to resist, but it calls out to you from the refrigerator: EAT ME! EAT ME!)

So.... Long Story Short: 800 calories over. Booooooooooo! A hiccup in the plan. No biggie. No whoop.

I stepped on the scale this morning and was down 2 pounds. Go figure.

Today I am angelic again. Sing it, Gloria Gaynor.

I WILL SURVIVE!

    I understand the allure of these foods. Since I am gluten intolerant I can no longer eat those foods but I would have loved to do it. Today is a new day to start over.

    Your right, each day is a new opportunity to get things right, and one bad day does not overturn all the hard work you put into a new and healthy lifestyle.

I have to say though, I would keep that pasta salad in a different county and not in your kitchen.
