Wow! Whatta guy!

Thursday, May 09, 2013

My DH LIKES to cook & wants to cook our dinners! I don't like to cook or peruse recipes! I'm so lucky to have this great guy! He cooks from a small selection of recipes which are delicious, but not the greatest for weight loss.

Hearing my quiet concern about needing to change my eating habits MORE because it's just not working, he read the SP cookbook & made 2 of the recipes tonight. The best part? He liked them! And so did I!

So I think we'll be trying more SP recipes..and I'll be searching for more on the website! It's NOT cool to look a gift-horse (or is it cook-horse?) in the mouth & not appreciate his efforts...definitely NOT cool! But maybe we've found a tiny exit from our old rut! Hooray, I love this fella!

    That is so emoticon
I love to cook but dh is liking it more and more.
He's very good about cooking when I am unable.
So does not cook healthy, though!
I am trying to guide him, or at least get him to honor my wishes for a lot of vegetables.
I do appreciate his help, though.
