Level 3, day 10
I made it to the end of level 3. I'm done with the 30 Day Shred attempt #2. Digestive issues are back, and my schedule/eating habits were way thrown off this week, so I'm not surprised by having a 1.5 lb gain this morning. I'm disappointed, though, that there are so many blog pages and youtube videos of people with dramatic body changes from the Shred, and here I am, looking pretty much the same. You can kind of see some bicep muscles, kind of see a hint of oblique muscles, but that's about it. Same measurements, same clothing size. Still in a holding pattern.
I'm still deciding on what my exercise routine is going to look like for the next three weeks. School is out after May 28th, so I will have more flexibility in terms of time and resources then. But for now...it's still a toss-up in my head. Shred again with heavier weights? No More trouble zones with the same weights? 6 Week 6 Pack and some other strength training thing? I don't know. We are taking the kids on a walking field trip tomorrow, so I will log a few miles before lunch tomorrow. I will probably not worry about strength training until Saturday morning.
The Dude's stepdad was rushed to the hospital this afternoon. I have no details on what's going on. Hopefully the doctors can get him stabilized...one funeral in a week is enough....
