Today was the day I had to go back to the pulmonology department and take part in a breathing test....they were testing me for asthma, having ruled out things like COPD and emphysema. The doctor told me the test would take several hours and that I wouldn't feel like going to work after finishing.
In reality, it took about an hour and I didn't feel terrible afterwards. I ended up running into Aldi for some produce and then stopping at the gas station (do you put it off in the hope that the price will go down? I do...and it didn't...so...). When I came home, I went outside and kind of did a little cleaning on my patio. I just haven't felt like doing anything out there in months. Still have more to do, but I made a start.
The doctor's office called me with the good news that I don't have asthma...another ailment down...now if only we can figure out what's wrong with me. I feel pretty good today, so I'm not going to complain.
I have those PFT's done about once a year because of te Myasthenia Gravis . they needed a baseline of what my numbers are for how to treat me and they willb e testing me in the hospital if i should go into a "crisis" I didn't mind the actual tests but it did wear me out. I do ahve asthma though. I'm glad you are feeling better. 1716 days ago
