Breathing tests

Thursday, May 09, 2013

Today was the day I had to go back to the pulmonology department and take part in a breathing test....they were testing me for asthma, having ruled out things like COPD and emphysema. The doctor told me the test would take several hours and that I wouldn't feel like going to work after finishing.

In reality, it took about an hour and I didn't feel terrible afterwards. I ended up running into Aldi for some produce and then stopping at the gas station (do you put it off in the hope that the price will go down? I do...and it didn't...so...). When I came home, I went outside and kind of did a little cleaning on my patio. I just haven't felt like doing anything out there in months. Still have more to do, but I made a start.

The doctor's office called me with the good news that I don't have asthma...another ailment down...now if only we can figure out what's wrong with me. I feel pretty good today, so I'm not going to complain.

I've had those breathing tests done twice, but all was fine. Like Debbie, they tired me out.
Hope you get to the bottom of things soon.
