My Motivation for Today

I decided to try to lose 5 pounds. This will be like my thin friends deciding they want to lose a few pounds. I am at a normal BMI. My clothes fit, but I want to have a flatter stomach and thinner legs. So I am adjusted my caloires down. BUT I am still eating at my old level. I am not sure what to do. I will try to have more MUFA, and try to eat cleaner. I am still hungry during the day. So it is a process.

But I love my body this way and even if the pounds don't come off, it is all good.

    interesting - I'm there too - at a healthy bmi but thinking I'd like to be just a little less fleshy. Hope things are going well for you.

    I agree with Kanoe.... slow and steady. You have some great habits now and I would be surprised if you plateaued with as much exercise as you are doing. Walking really helped me get smaller legs... but I think it is also body makeup. I hear so many people who lose everywhere except where they want to lose the weight most... especially the stomach or hip area. Hurray for maintenance Lynn.

    I am at a normal Bmi also and plan on losing 5 pounds also..but slowly. Good luck you your new plan.
