I'm always creating little blogs in my head but I never actually write them down. I'm not sure why, except I don't really think they're very interesting. And thinking them through seems to be enough for me most of the time. But I love to read everyone elses blogs, so here goes.
Right now I'm doing what I always do this time of year - working hard to get in the best shape I can before my big vacation. I usually go to Mexico with friends around this time of year. It's great incentive to stay on track - for a while. I usually lose steam after I get back though. I'm determined that it will be different this time and I've been thinking about what I'm going to need to do.
I started pretty late this year. I just couldn't get going. Once I'm on a roll I always find myself wondering how I got so off track. I probably won't make my final goal by the time I leave for Mexico, but changes are happening. I'm not going to get crazy leading up to my vacation because that's how I usually get burned out. I just want to fit in my summer clothes, which is pretty important. Ha! For now, my jogging is improving, I can pull the zipper all the way up on my skirts again,
and I have over 4 weeks left to go. This will be a hard weekend with a birthday celebration with some hard drinking and eating friends on Saturday, and Mother's Day on Sunday, so I'm going to do my very best to make it work!
