Ladies I can't sing the praises of classical stretch workouts enough. 10 weeks ,5 days a week and just 22 minutes a day is making big changes in my body. Please know I wasn't fit or thin when I started. 170 lbs, there you go honest!
I've been saying for weeks how my arms are shaping nicely with biceps and a struggling triceps! My old flat bum is getting that sweet round shape, which I haven't seen for years! But here's the biggest change. The lower abs, which have never been remotely flat in my life. The way I'm built wearing bikini undies never worked as they would roll down due to the girth of gut. Now I noticed it is half the size it use to be! I wore a pair of bikini undies with success! Now on the down side I see the stretch marks I couldn't see before! I've lost nearly two inches in my hips. Now the legs are getting strong and I feel muscles where I didn't know I had them but they aren't shrinking as fast. But I know how fat and flabby they were to begin with, awful really! As I walk I can feel the sore muscles from the workout and I smile through the pain!
I just spent 45 minutes putting batteries in the wii board to weigh myself which I haven't done since February in my no exercise slump. I looked everywhere and my wiifit disc is missing. Now the hubby and grandkids were the last to use the wii. My case is here and a car racing disc is here without a case. I'm betting the wii fit disc is in the car racing case which is nowhere to be found either.
So I can't attest to losing weight but I'm gaining muscle.
Classical stretch is a no impact full body workout. It is shown on PBS. Of course you buy dvds too.
I watched it for one day before trying it. I know everyone has to find what works for them, give this a try it could be what you're looking for. I have a low back injury,neck injury,scoliosis and tendonitis.
And I do it with out causing pain to those areas:-)
