Well I slept this morning. And you know what? I don't even feel bad about it! I needed the rest! I feel so much better! I think 3-4 mornings a week, plus my 5K walks to and from work are fantastic!
So I did my normal walking to work in the morning, home at lunch, back to work at lunch, and I will walk home after work. That's a total of 5K! Just in commuting! I do this everyday, rain or shine or sleet or snow! It doesn't matter I will always get that walking in!
Anyways I got to work, I had strawberries and greek yogurt for breakfast. I didn't snack this morning like usual, and I walked home at lunch let out the pup, walked back to work and by this time it was 1:00 and I was starving! I didn't pack my lunch today, running out of groceries!! So I went to the food court. I went to a place called healthy habits and their hot lunch was rice/meatballs and a greek pasta salad. Probably a little higher in calories than a packed lunch but at least it wasn't grease!
Anyways I get back to my desk and this bad boy was sitting there. Very sweet of the person but a coconut cupcake, oh my!!! I love coconut!! And anything sweet!!
My only solution is to compromise, I cut it in half and gave half to a coworker, still get to taste it, but ate half the calories
Last night we went for a walk after work with a friend and her sons.

Buster isn't a swimmer but I threw his ball in a little bit and he was determined to get it!
Overall yesterday between the morning walk, daily commuting walks, and the evening walk I got in almost 13KM!! That's a lot of walking for one day! I'm really glad I rested this morning!
It's all about balance right?? I'm trying to find that balance.
