05/09/13 - One week down and 51 more to go...

Thursday, May 09, 2013

I finished my first week and I am happy!

I did not log any food for Saturday and Sunday. I am pretty sure I was over 3000 calories for both days. I only stayed in my calorie range for 1 out of 7 days.

Not really sure how it happened but I lost weight!!!

I am down 2 pounds and I will take it. I am not logging the food as closely as I could be. I am horrible at measuring and I am over estimating but I know that I am over my calorie range.

I couldn't believe that on the first day I walked over to the snack cabinet and just took a handful of chips without even thinking about it. It took me a moment to realize that I had to log what I just ate. Ugh! How often have I been doing that?

So next week I am striving to log the food, no more mindless eating and drink more water.

Yeah!!! I know it is hard but when you're over this weekend, we'll get through it together! Just remember, it's a great example you're setting for the kids. emoticon I'm glad we're in this together, you're the best sister ever (who isn't one of my other sisters)!!!

It is definitely a process! I started by just logging everything, knowing I would go over my calorie range. Once I got that all figured out, I started trying to stay within my daily calorie range during the week, and eventually added the weekend. Form there I started looking at the nutrient ranges...and so on. You are doing great, keep up the good work and you will see results!
