Expectations vs Reality

Thursday, May 09, 2013

I had one simple goal for yesterday, which proved to be rather challenging. All that needed to be done was to record what went into my mouth and my GI symptoms.

Easy enough, so I thought. For the am hours it went well. then as the day got busy, distraction set in. Perhaps attaching a journal and pen around my neck would help.

Ah ... practice... some picture of what transpired is better than no picture. Perhaps I do not really want to include everything that passes my lips. Ah ....

plausible deniability

defined by the Urban Dictionary as: "which a subject can safely and believeably deny knowledge of any particular truth that may exist because the subject is deliberately made unaware of said truth"

In "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character Col. Jessep stated: YOU CANíT HANDLE THE TRUTH! Maybe that it, ignorance maybe bliss, but without knowledge how can we know what needs to be changed.

If a journal and pencil are not handy, dictate the info into your cell phone. If you do not have that capability, call yourself and leave a voice message.

Make Today a Great Day!
