I think I pulled my IT muscles on the left. I was running yesterday and had almost completed 2k when an ache started in my left hip. I walked the last kilometre but it didn't go away.
In fact, it hurt more when I tried to get up from a seated position. I was so stiff! So I have to take it easy A LOT now. No more running. I'm just going to walk to keep mobile but not speedy. Massage and be nice to me.
If I have to run my next race at a walk! So be it!! Maybe I'll just walk for my training and see how I feel on race day. If I run, I run. Maybe I'll run and walk.
I'm still going to horseback ride so there's still that to look forward to.
Be nice to ourselves. Be kind to ourselves. Every little bit we do, is good.
