What did the beaver say to the tree?
It’s been nice gnawing you.
Which small Caribbean resort island, known for its dazzling white sands, is named for its long, eel-like shape?
Anguilla. Eel in Italian and Latin is anguilla; in Spanish, it’s anguila; and in French, it’s anguille. In English, anguilliform means “resembling or shaped like an eel.”
A high point in TV history
In August 2010, Sacramento station KTXL broadcast a 30-second ad showing people delivering testimonials about a wonderful new product that helped ease symptoms like joint pain, nausea, and anxiety. What was it? The first-ever TV ad for medical marijuana in history.
They’ve been rerun constantly, but there were actually just 39 episodes of The Honeymooners.
(One of my husband's favorite shows)
