Breaking the Fast

Wednesday, May 08, 2013

Well I did it. I chewed food today.

After my morning juice I ate a delicious apple. I was so disappointed. It didn't taste like anything. :( Bad apple...

So I went to gt my lunch juice. My mom was here to see me chew again and I said to her: How about I sautee some red peppers and we have that for lunch? She was game. So I cut them length wise put a bit of oil on the pan, tossed them in with some salt, pepper and paprika. Covered them up and 20 min later it was ready.

Sis got me Fulvi Pecorino Romano cheese - and I grated some on top.
It Was Heavenly.

Had my mean Green, and tea. For dinner I had a couple of plumb tomatoes and just finished up with my soup. Will make some tea. Waiting on my friend to come over and sign papers for listing her house. It has been a long fulfilling day.

SimCyn - I couldn't go straight to steak - it wouldn't be good for my body. Didn't want to my gallbladder to go into shock LOL so I will just do veggies until Saturday at least. We will be up at Lehigh again on Sat and we will be there for 10 hours as sis will be also making up the hours of last Sat so I just want to be safe LOL.
Oh the measurements I wrote in my blog that I lost a total of 18.5 inches. But If you want to know the individual losses I will post them for you on today's blog.

By the way those peppers were utterly heavenly. Might make some tonight again LOL.

LadySmith: Thank you, took it with my phone and then Instagrammed it LOL. The Mean Green is the juice of choice on the documentary Fat,Sick and Nearly dead. It is 2 Green Apples, 4 celery stalks, 5-8 leaves of Kale, half a lemon, one cucumber, and an inch of ginger throw them in the Juicer and enjoy.

The peppers look very yummy, but where is the steak? LOL. I would imagine going from juice to steak would be a bit daunting. The peppers a much better choice.

Still waiting to see those measurements.

Enjoy the food.

Pretty photo! What is Mean Green? Are they powdered greens? I use NanoGreens, which I absolutely LOVE. Just wondering.
