So, I guess this means I really need to start tracking what I'm eating to be successful. Which means I need to start planning my meals and then actually cook what I'd planned... Help!
Although, Jeff Novick and Engine 2 and Dr. McDougall keep telling me that if I'm not eating oils and nuts and meat and dairy, there should be no reason I can't lose weight without really trying.
I calculated the calories to burn based on 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and 35 miles. This part I feel confident in since I go the gym for at least 30 minutes of elliptical or treadmill every morning before work after I drop my kids off at school. I sometimes go in the evening with my sister, too. Now, if only the gym would get a trainer who can work with us again on our schedule, it would be a lot easier to get my strength training in.
