Day 29

Level 3, day 9

Rough week, and it's only Wednesday. I've been off my routine for the last few days. Yesterday after work, I had to take the 40 minute drive to attend the wake, then shift mental gears while driving home to take the Dude out for his birthday. We had planned on cashing in on Chipotle's teacher appreciation day discount...but when we got there, we discovered that every educator in the south suburbs was also there, and the line stretched out the door and around the block.

So we turned around and went to Fuddruckers. I did not behave. I had a bacon cheddar burger, and about half of the order of fries. Today was the funeral. I had never been to the funeral of a priest before. The church was loaded with priests, nuns and bishops in full vestments. It was quite a spectacle. So was the brunch afterwards...once again I did not behave. I didn't really overdo it, but a lot of it was food I don't ordinarily eat (bread, gravy, brownies...oh my). So I'm already 400 calories away from my limit for the day, and I haven't had dinner yet.

I did exercise, though. One more day and I'm done with the Shred. Now I need to find out what to do for myself for the next three weeks until summer starts. Maybe go back to Six Week six pack or No More Trouble Zones. I need to pick up some heavier dumbbells.

Also, I have another request for a Dr. Who scarf, so it looks like I'll be investing in some yearn really soon...
