Another 2.2 pounds permanently lost totaling 13 since January 3. I have come to terms with this and will take whatever loss I can get. I will say though, that it is much slower than I had anticipated. Last time I lost weight, I had lost 40 lbs. in this amount of time.
I'm still battling my painful ITB Band. Each time I go running, it aggravates it and I have to take it easy for 2 to 3 days. My chiropractor is helping me to try to alleviate the problem. If it hasn't subsided by 6/15...when I run my 5K, I may give up running and go back to the elliptical. All that being said, my exercise goals this month are to run twice a week and finish the C25K program, do 1 day of strength training per week, and get some other form of exercise in twice per week that involves the kids. These are modified to hopefully work with my painful ITB Band issue. This month I'm definitely going to get that bike. I didn't get it last month because my husband heavily hinted that it might be a Mother's Day gift. WooHoo!!
My nutrition goals this month are to continue with the "Maximized Living" and "Wheat Belly" eating program 6x per week. I don't know how to really describe that any better... and get 8 glasses of water in EVERY DAY.
This month I have to keep last month's reading goals too as I didn't get the books read either. I need to finish "Wheat Belly" by Dr. William Davis and also to read "Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It" by Gary Taubes.
