Celebration, Reflection, Accountability And Moving Forward

It is my
today! I made it through a whole year. I stuck around and although the weight situation isn't what I would have liked it to be, I am happy that I am here. Some might say that my first year was a bust but I don't look at it that way. I have much to be proud about and I am celebrating those things today! I am grateful for all the support, inspiration and encouragement that I have gotten from my Spark friends. I am more knowledgeable about living a healthy lifestyle than I was back then. I am getting out of the house more instead of hiding from the world and everything in it. I had some really great accomplishments but I am not going to toot my horn here! lol I am looking forward to the second year of my journey.
I can't believe that a year has gone by already but onward, downward in weight and upward in health!
As those who follow my blogs know, I recently (at the beginning of May) restarted my journey. I am so glad that I did. I needed a fresh start and a new commitment. Today is my weigh in day and I have lost 3.4 this week! That is a nice way to start out my 2nd year. I never said where I was with my weight. I guess I was ashamed but (holding my breath a bit) I need to put it out there to acknowledge it and then to move on. On May 1st I weighed in at 354.6 and today I weigh 351.2 so I am moving in the right direction and I am feeling great!
I am really going to try to get back to doing vlogs because this writing business is time consuming and I can't count it as exercise so...lol I think what is holding me back right now is that when I use my laptop, so many people have problems hearing me. My son is now using his laptop for his music and it is set up where I can't use it and can't move it. I will have to see what I can do to make mine work better or some of you won't be able to hear my lovely voice! lol
I am currently working on my daily schedule. I remember when I was working as a Service Manager at the bank that I had a daily schedule that had things I did in the morning and then things at the end of the day. I had things throughout the day but since I ran transactions for customers, those things were the "do as you have time" things. Since I am making my journey to health a job, I need a good schedule. It may take some trial and error before I get it all worked out like I want but I think it will help to keep me moving and getting things done.
Well, I have lots of work to do today so I better get off here and get some of it done. It is supposed to get up to 90 degrees today so I won't be doing much outside but I have lots of laundry to do and the piles seem to keep growing!
