Back on track

Wednesday, May 08, 2013

Today has been a good day. I have stayed on track with my meals and food choices. I got all my steps in yesterday. I am sure I looked rather silly marching around my living room, but it was dark when I got home from work and I wasn't going to go out again, the living room did the trick. LOL I still have to get in the rest of my walking today, but I will at least get a little bit done outside.
School is winding down. We only have 11 days left. I am finishing up the reading tests with my second graders and have two new IEP's (Individualized Education Plan for kids with special needs) that have to be written in a week and half. That is going to take up a lot of my time for the next few days. I can't wait for summer break. emoticon

emoticon I knew you'd win the final battle with that donut. emoticon .

Up here, in Canada, school's in until the end of June so hard to imagine you winding up the school year already. But whether it's the end in May or in June, I am sure you are ready for the holidays coming up. Teaching is a demanding career no matter how much you love what you do.

Hey, if someone is watching you march around your living room and thinks you look silly, you will have the last laugh! Your improving health and strength trumps all, but I know you know that. Kudos to you!
