Well I got up and weight myself and sis took measurements.
Total lbs lost in 60 days -42!!!!!!!!!! the scale went down 1lb today (and makes a total of 70 lost since I started my weight loss journey in June of 2010)
Total inches lost 18.5 (6 inches the first month, 12.5 the second month)
Looks like my biggest changes were in my Breast(lost a lot from my back) and stomach measurements.
Also for astonishing numbers my inches lost since I started my Spark People journey here on 6/26/10 is 40 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other things improved during this journey:
*PCOS in remission (no idea what other to call it) with corrected normal cycle and flow
*best sleep of my life
*NORMAL blood sugar levels
*thicker fuller eyelashes
*cleared skin with an awesome healthy glow
*no fog brain
*varicose veins becoming less visible (thank you SimCyn!I paid attention and u were right)
*I can touch my toes when I bend !!!! (last few days)
* I can bend my leg and pull it close to me when I sit in a chair(last week - haven't been able to do this in YEARS)
*Less pain all around my body
Ohhh and did I mention that I look like a hot sexy mama??? LOL
I am sure I am missing stuff but I just wanted to say thank you to all who have been on this journey with me. Diana you were there from the start- thank you for your guidance. And to the rest of the group, thank you for making the last few weeks so much more exciting!!!
Last night my sister gave me a "60th" birthday candle to celebrate my last day of fasting. We lit it up I made a wish, blew it out and re lit it and let it burn.
It has been an amazing transforming 60 days. I never in my wildest dreams did I believe that this would actually give me the results that it did, much less that I would last on it. The beginning was hard. I will never ever forget days 2-3 I don't know what I was doing to my body but I paid for it those 2 days. I am so happy that I stuck with it.
For those who are juicing or people who are interested here is what I did for 60 days to get the results I did:
Drank approximately 120 oz of juice a day (this went down to 64oz as I got closer to day 60 as I wasn't as hungry) All of my juices followed the 80/20 rule of veggies to fruit though my evening one was straight veggies.
Drank over 64 oz of water
Drank a can of coconut water a day
Ate 1/4 of a cup ground flax seed (for added protein)
Ate 2 tbs of soaked chia seeds
Had herbal teas whenever i needed to warm up with Monk Fruit in the raw sugar
Had 1-2 cups of veggie broth to end my evening and warm me up
I prepped my juices from the night before as much as possible. If I went out I always carried 32oz of juice and water and had herbal teas and monk fruit in the raw in my pocket book.
My success was due to the fact that I was focused and prepared! That is it. Also I had a great support system. My sister joined me in my journey for days after I started. She ate at work because she demo's foods - but she has lost over 30lbs so far. We will have her total in 4 days. My parents took on the produce shopping because they wanted to show how much they supported me. Work was awesome as they allowed me to skip meetings and work from home ( i only popped in twice in the 2 months) and my friends all came fed to my house and accepted graciously all my No's to events. And I said No to many things. Easter I have to admit was really hard as it was 2 days before the end. I am glad I stuck it through.
Today I get to eat. I am planning juice for breakfast, then an apple, juice for lunch and then probably a tomato and some spinach but might sautee some peppers and spinach just to see. I don't know. I am nervous and excited at the same time. This plan has been kind to my body, and my body has responded in ways I have never seen before. I love feeling healthy and full of energy. I am a little over half way to my goal and I know with you guys on my side I can only stay in line and succeed.
Today it feels liket the Universe gave a signal that I am off the fast, and my day went back to being crazy. Woohoooo running around will be welcomed as I want to pace my intro to food.
