Has it really been a week since I last blogged? Geez, where does the time go?
Well the farmerís market did not happen because it snowed Thursday and Friday here in Iowa. Crazy, right? But it has all melted and Iím on for this weekend instead so hereís hoping it goes really well. I did get to spend the weekend with the BF and some good friends so it was a really good weekend over all. My food intake was not the greatest but it wasnít terrible. Although this week Iím up .5 but Iím not letting that get me off track. Iíve been doing good on workouts and even did Zumba Monday AND went for a run! I have my first 5k this weekend so I wanted to make sure I got some running in before Saturday night. Tonight is Zumba again, which always makes me happy. Yesterday I got up early and did some ST.
What else is new? My allergies are kicking my @ss but that is what happens this time of year. God, Iím so miserable. Ugh. Other then that I have been keeping busy with work, making jewelry and taking care of Meow. He has his next appointment tomorrow for his all day vet visit to see how his insulin dose is going for him. He has been doing so much better so that makes me so happy. Heís gaining weight (I call him my little chunk now :)), when you pet him he isnít all skin and bones now, his fur is soft, his eyes are bright, he purrs like a little chainsaw, and he was actually playing with me last night! Heís still blind (but gets around really well) but all in all he is much more like the kitty I have always known. This month is our 10 year anniversary together (I adopted him when he was 4 or 5 yrs old) and itís so nice to have him doing so much better. I embrace my crazy cat lady-ness :)
Anyway I guess that is all I got for today. But I did want to share a few pictures with you guys from the last week or so
Hope in the snow. At least someone was excited about it. PS She is wearing the hello kitty hat I got her for Christmas
Andrew's dog Skyler last week when I was watching her. Silly puppy
Meow's idea of helping with laundry
Some earrings I made for a friend. And then I posted the pic on Facebook and my cousin in Oklahoma bought a pair! I'm just really happy people like the stuff I make, makes me feel good
