So in the last month, I have signed myself up for a 5K in July, I am currently using the couch to 5K app to get my body and mind ready for that. I am not a runner at all, in fact I HATE running currently. But I am DETERMINED to make this happen, after all, I feel amazing when I get done with my run, so that is all that matters, in order to achieve something you've never had, you've got to do things you've never done. I am training regularly with my personal trainer, lately I have slowed down due to having an awful cold, but I am feeling better and I am ready to get back on track! Meal prepping has been going wonderful, I usually do 3oz of chicken breast seasoned whichever way I'm in the mood for, I do no salt mrs dash usually, or I use my own seasonings, I don't typically use any pre mixed marinades since there are tons of sodium and sugar and extra additives and hidden ingredients. I also measure out 1/4 cup of whole grain brown rice and a veggie of my choice, usually sauteed peppers or I will just take some cucumbers. I also started working some whacky hours so adjusting to the sleep schedule and being up at 3am was definitely throwing me off track. hopefully nothing but good things to come!
