what stopped me

Today, I had a busy day!( made sure I ate a decent breakfast, specially k breakfast sandwich) Met with a customer at 8:30. Had a 2.5 hair appt at 9 ( brought a granola bar with me), had to go t o another town and get samples and drop off at another customers house so not much time for lunch (KFC 360 calories meal). I really wanted candy, chocolate, a doughnut. But what stopped me???
My roll of fat hanging over my pants. When ever a craving hit, I pinched my fat. That was enough to keep me on track.

I came home, worked in office and made dinner (shrimp and chicken stir fried rice with lots of veggies) and ate some huge grapes while I cooked dinner.

I'm fighting guys, I'm still here and fighting!!!

    Yay! Sounds like you did pretty darn good with the options you had to me! Mmmmmm stir-fry....I need to make some stir-fry soon!

Yep, I've got a roll, too. I never realized what a convenient reminder I have (I avoid mirrors at all costs!). I'm going to follow your strategy. Thanks for the idea!

    You are awesome!! That's funny you mention the pinching, because I've been more aware of my lower stomach/roll today, it's bothering me more than usual and as I keep looking down on it, it's a reminder of why I want/need to do this. You are awesome and I'm going to remember your pinching story when I am faced with temptation! emoticon
