Week 3 Day 2 - 7 Mile Survivor

Today ended up being my long run due to my 8K race this weekend. Because I didn't want to mess up hubby's morning routine I pushed the second run of the week forward a few hours and ran it this evening. I won't lie, my body felt it and I'm glad I've got tomorrow off. Because the race is on Sunday and I normally have my long run on Saturday I have an extra day off. I'm going to see how my knee is feeling tomorrow and decide if I want the extra day off between my long run (today) and my hill sprints or if I want to use it after hill sprints before the race. There are arguments both ways so I'll just wait to see how I'm feeling. Yes I know, with an extra day I could have done the 7 mile run tomorrow evening, I was stressed and wanted to go tonight. Just go out, think and run.
My pace info won't be overly accurate. I didn't have a water bottle belt so I stopped at McDonald's along the way for water,which felt weird because I was busting my butt doing something healthy and strolling into McD's.
It was a nice run. No set, pre-planned route I just went where my legs took me.
