Any ideas???

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

Hi everyone

I'm looking for ideas about a part time job, need to do just a few hours to aid DH while work is slow.

I'm at a loss as what to do as my limitations seem to out weigh my abilities :0, but I knew you guys would have heaps of ideas and maybe some I could do from home.

Thanks in advance for all the great ideas.

Retail is always looking for employees over here! I had done temp. agency work before and loved it! But, sometimes that can be full time more than part time. Hope you find what you like! Jobs over here right now are hard to come by due to are economy problems...lots of people are creating their own jobs/businesses! Good luck! Sorry to hear your husband's work is slow...hope that improves soon!

If you make things try to sell them. Maybe become a consignment shop for your neighbors offering to put their items on ebay or the like and sell them there. See if maybe you can get a part-time gig as a receptionist at someplace close. Those are what jumps out at me.

Have you thought about talking to your local quilt shop or craft store about making samples?

I agree that a temp agency is a good place to start. Also let folks at your church or senior center or wherever you hang out when you're not at home know that you are looking for work. You might be surprised at the offers you receive.

I agree a temp agency may be the best place to look first. I hope you are able to find something that will work well for you!

Really wish I could help :( Only advice I could give at this point is to try a temporary agency. Sometimes you can find a good part time job through them, maybe even one that has you doing work at home. (transcription, billing, etc.)
