Had a wreck and lost my job

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

What a horrible day. I overslept and was late to pick up a fare and wrecked my car. Second wreck in a month, so I was fired. Not in a very good place right now. Very depressed and feeling useless

Sure sorry to hear that news, not a good day. Take a few days to collect yourself yourself and then get right back at pounding the pavement and something will turn up. I will be praying for you.

Tomorrow will be better Skeeter

Don't spend your days in depression. When God closes one door he usually opens another. Your life has been spared for a purpose. Go seeking that purpose. Find out what your strongest ability is and seek a job relative to that strength. We will be praying that you will find a better more satisfying job in the very near future!

If I was you, I would contact my medical doctor and my counselor to be checked out to see if I was physically ill and don't know it (reasons for wrecking the cars) and to have someone to talk to when feeling horrible. Most communities have free clinics for both, medical needs and mental health. Don't do it alone since it is too much right now. Hell happens to all of us at one time or another but we don't need to do it alone. Please reach out and don't do it alone.

I'm sorry you were fired but it's more important that you weren't killed. I hear ya about being depressed, but don't ever feel useless. Get back on track, and be strong. You have many friends here who care about you.

You are far from useless! People drive so crazy these days it's no wonder there aren't more wrecks. Hang in there things may look terrible right now but they will get better. When I was fired I had to tell myself it was just a job and I was looking for one when I found this one. My husband has been fired too. He couldn't sleep the whole night after it happened. It feels awful but it passes. I'll pray for a better job to come your way soon and for your depression to lift.
