Running at 5am...??

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

If you would have asked me a year ago if I would get up at 5 am to run I would of said “No Way!!”. I love my sleep, and I normally hate getting up. emoticon I’ve always said I could never workout first thing in the morning. Hahaha funny how much things can change in a year. Did my first 5 am run this morning and I actually enjoyed it!!

I will be up again at 5am on Thursday…. I hope I feel the same way then emoticon

I do a 6:15 am spin class and I am retired. When I get up and do it, it feels fantastic to have the exercise out of the way. Fantastic commitment on your part. emoticon

Kudos to you! Yeah, I'm still in the phase of "No way I'm getting up at 5:30 am to exercise! I love my sleep!" During the weekdays, my alarm is set for 5:30 am to allow time for an early morning workout before leaving for my job yet I still always hit snooze until 6. I know that if I push myself to get up when the alarm first sounds, then I will feel great after getting a good workout. The trick is getting up! I hope to just bite the bullet one day and start the ball rolling. Good for you! Keep it up!
