I moved all day yesterday. I was energized enough to start work in a room that I felt depressed every time I looked at it. It is what I call my multipurpose room. I sorted out old files, shredded old documents, pulled books from my book cases that I haven't referred to in a couple of years, and gave away those things that I thought, "One day I'll hem this or that, take this or that in, etc."

I did learn something from all that activity. Pay more attention to the doctor's orders. I didn't pace myself and got lost in my activity. Next time, I'll set a timer and take more needed breaks. Ah, the joys of live and learn! It just felt so good to be doing!

    Its amazing how easy it is to get into a project and forget the breaks. I use a timer for all my activites. At first I set only 15 minutes to be up and out of my emoticon But as you get used to moving and being active it increases. Now my timer goes for 1 hour, but I find before that time is up I am moving if I am in a chair, stretching and moving arms, legs, whatever feels stiff. You know the old fitness saying A Body in Motion tends to Stay in Motion. Its true. The more you move the more you feel the need to move. emoticon on getting that project monkey off your back.
