Last week was crazy, eating and weight-wise. And not in a good way. On Monday I was down a pound, Thursday at my "official" weigh-in I hadn't gained/hadn't lost (which was steady until today...)
Today I am UP THREE POUNDS!!! Argggghhhhh! It's not as if I didn't know it was coming. I ate out a bunch and didn't always make the best choices. Sometimes it was a salad, but sometimes it was wheat-coated and deep-fried chicken tenders. I knew better and did it anyway. I let being busy, being lazy, and having a hugely stressful week make too much of an impact. And now I'm paying for it.
It's not just the weight gain. For days, my nose has been dry and painful, my joints hurt, and I've have a non-stop headache. I could be getting sick, but I am sure my food choices have not helped the situation.
Anyway, since Sunday I've been getting back on track. Even though I was exhausted and low on time, I went grocery shopping and cooked for the week, over the weekend. I made a huge pot of chili, hard-boiled eggs, and grilled chicken for salads throughout the week. So I am covered for quick lunches and dinners.
Now I'm just wondering now how long till I'm feeling better. On the bright side, at least the way I'm feeling now can become a cautionary tale for the next time I'm feeling stressed and under-prepared! :)
