Booze and caffiene put my body on snooze! Not anymore!

My husband likes to unwind with beers after work and drink his coffee in the morning. I was falling his suit, which is my fault. I recently stopped drinking (only special occasions now, not everyday) No caffeine today either, (I actually got him to drink tea this morning) just some nice CF tea! Anyhow, I'm hoping to start seeing better results and start feeling better. I could feel the inflammation inside on each side of my body from those two culprits I was using. I feel great today and will continue to do this, because I hated the way I felt, along with eating poorly at times, because booze lowers your standards of eating and being healthy, at least for me it did. I'll let you know how much better I am feeling in a week, but just 1 day makes a huge difference on the inflammation I was experiencing. Of course I didn't feel like exercising the next day after having a few beers or so either and that did not help any as well. So cheers with a glass of water with lemon (which does cleanse out the LIVER) yippee! emoticon

    The other thing is that booze is a depressant, thats how it works, so I never understood why the commercials for beer show happy people instead of depressed ones. Good job for sticking to your guns!

    Giving up things making your body not feel healthy (except on special occasions) is a very healthy choice. Realizing it was your choice to do that was a terrific step. The qualities of water are truly magic. Best of luck with your choices emoticon

    I have been where you are. In August of 2012 I quit drinking alcohol altogether. Let's face it, alcohol just adds up to empty calories and it's pretty near impossible to have just ONE drink. I quit drinking and haven't looked back. The benefits are endless and there just aren't any drawbacks. I stick to water now, so I am a cheap date! Cheers to you! Keep up the great effort - it will pay off!

    Omg you and I are going through the exact same thing! emoticon I feel a difference too! Drinking does make you feel so bloated.. I usually used to stick to the weekends for drinking and special occasions but then I just started liking a cold beer after work and one leads to another.. You know! But yes cheers with a glass of water! I am drinking mine right now and loving it!!

  I can guarantee you are going to feel like a new person in just one week. I like you quit drinking (except for special occasions) and I noticed everything was better, i felt better, i had more energy, i ate better, my workouts were better. So I cheers you with a glass of water with a strawberry! emoticon
