Day 37 - Enjoying my day!

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

Today is my day off from work and other responsibilities other than what I need to get done at the house.

I weighed myself this morning and lost 0.8 lbs! Yay! I got to plug in my new weight status!!! I did a near boo-boo yesterday... My husband is not allowed to know that I am dieting. Yup, I am a secret dieter that hasn't come out of the closet yet...other than to my kids! LOL I weighed myself yesterday and didn't put the new scale away before taking my bath. My husband walked in and saw the scale on the floor. He inquired about why it was there and how much I weighed... emoticon (He has sabotaged me several times before by bringing in the delicious sweets and when I eat them and complain that he is not helping, he says it is not his fault that I fed myself...he did not force me to eat it - gah!) emoticon So this time, hush is the word!

We go on our walks but we always do anyway, so that would not tip him off. I just want him to one day see me and say, "Wow, you look great!" emoticon Even though I lost 8 lbs, it is not noticeable.

Today's agenda: Already got my morning walk in..., clean house, apply for my licensure exam, study for the exam, search for and apply for jobs, follow up on other applications, go watch my son play baseball, buy some groceries, read, enjoy the outdoors, and have a great day!

Sounds like you are having a great day!

? Years ago, when I was living on my own, my mom used to drop by and bring me treats ("cause I know how much you enjoy them") . I would have a small bite with her during the visit and as soon as she was gone and down the street - I would dump the whole thing in the trash. Saved me a lot of calories and aggravation. Next time he buys you a treat - try trashing it.
