Ch 10, Day 94

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

Worked late on some client work last night. Up after 4 hrs. sleep to start moving furniture so the carpet cleaner can clean the carpets properly. DH did 75% of the work. Spring cleaning is advancing, and I need to keep this momentum going.

I will be off to my hair appt. when the carpets get done. LOL, it is DHs lucky day, as I would be adding services on, like cleaning the upholstery.

I'm down to 2 days of sitting permanently now. My adult niece asked to have one of my days and come Fall, grandbaby will be in daycare 3 days weekly. My heart is struggling with the latter. I want to do it all; I have always been this way: sitting full time, client work, free time (what's that?)

I will try and get to the greenhouse today for my tomatoes and some more herbs, and some annuals for my larger pots. I really enjoy putting the pots together and I must say, I am pleased with how they always turn out.

DAY'S POSITIVES
DH's braun and all of his efforts with getting ready for the carpet cleaner
DH's gardening and drive for us both
Hair appt - goodbye grey roots!
Sunny, dry day, super nice temperatures

DAY'S PLANS
Additionally and most importantly: get out for a 4 mile walk and eat healthy. Time to get some serious mojo back in play so I will look my best when greet the big 6-0 in August.

UPDATE
DH and I went to the greenhouse so I could get my plants. LOL, he couldn't resist a few more himself. My riches include tomatoes, red pepper, tarragon, dill, cilantro, Italian leaf parsley, chives, and sage, as well as several more perrennials, and a bunch of annuals for my large pots, and my front garden bed.Yikes....I need to dial 1-800-Plant4U

So far, so good on the eating in calorie range today. I need to re-group before I get out for my walk.

I want a big garden, but I like free time to write. One of the most important lessons I learned was that without free time, life has no purpose and in my case what I love to do for free time has led to a side career writing books. Hope you find some free time. emoticon
