Almost killed himself!

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

I have lost another pound--recycled weight---that I had gained over the winter---
But----slowly---it's coming off---
It takes a lot of "mind over matter""--looking at the food and deciding if I really need that-----At supper last night, I nearly bit himself's head off--in fact--almost "did him in!"-----I looked at my plate--which had not too much on it--then at his plate--which had all the serving sizes I felt I deserved.----
-Now himself is about as big as a minute--has never been overweight--and never eats between meals--(A hungry Woman is an angry woman!)-------
But----you know what?-----I ate what was on my plate---"grouched" more at himself---got a piece of fruit (as he was slowly guarding and devouring his dinner)--
Of course I always finish long before himself!-----and---------as the time passed------the hunger subsided----the feeling of --""why me?""-----was going------In fact, I felt good--not too full------maybe----even feeling like a normal person feels after a meal----
Poor himself------Living with a ""wanna be"" thinn-er person must be tough----
But----you know what? LOL
I survived the night---did NOT go to to bed hungry---and----the best part----
THE SCALES ARE DOWN this morning!
Whew!!!!! Life is tough here in this household sometimes for himself!
If I ever get to goal---perhaps HIMSELF deserves the medal!

emoticon I think most of us have felt like you did! GOOD for you though! And my dh is the same way...he has never been FAT nor does he like anything "junk" except ice cream! Sheesh! To only be like that!

Hahah, I know what you mean about eating less/faster than others. Some days I even remember to CHEW my food... ;)

Good morning! My other half is one of those "civilians," too...and I agree that while it must be difficult for them to live with us, it's frustrating for us to watch them eat! :)

Good for you to tame the monster...and CONGRATS for the scale moving in the "right" direction!

    Have a wonderful day, Lynda!

I know exactly how you felt!! Son and girlfriend went out to DQ last night and got milkshakes. Asked hubby and me if we wanted one. Hubby said yes and I said that while it was nice he asked me I could not believe he asked me knowing that I can't!! I had an Edy's sugar free fruit pop instead!!And that satisfied me!!

So glad to hear that himself is still breathing!! Lucky man!!!

Woohoo! Gotta love them! My hubby gets his share, too! He is just like yours. Thin and can eat whatever he likes. That just isn't fair! I am not down a pound! I will try harder today! emoticon emoticon From Indie and me!
