I love Rochester, NY. It has a lot to offer. One of the parks was planted with oodles of lilac bushes, among other flowering trees and plants. When I noticed a lilac in bloom on my way to school I decided to take advantage of the nice weather, grab Glitterfairy77 and the grandkids, and go to the park after school. We were not disappointed! We had a nice little walk, and I was delighted to see how even my 7 year old grandson responded to the natural beauty - even with the allure of the playground (but yes, we DID let the kids play on it after a stroll). We couldn't park near the lilac hill, but I did a slow drive by and we took pix and breathed deeply of their fragrance.

Yes, and there are so many other flowering trees out just now. It makes God's world so beautiful! Our local Research Center has many varieties of flowering crabtrees. It is a gorgeous drive through! emoticon Thank you Lord.
